Public Protector files record of evidence she used for Ramaphosa investigation

The Public Protector has filed records of the evidence she used in her investigation into whether President Cyril Ramaphosa misled Parliament about donations for his presidential campaign.

Mkhwebane found that Ramaphosa misled Parliament when he claimed a R500 000 donation from Bosasa was facilitated through his son's company. The spokesperson for the Public Protector Oupa Segwale told The Xolani Gwala Show that the record includes 'all sorts of evidence' that the Public Protector based her findings on.

Things like bank statements for the different accounts that are cited in the investigation report.
